20: How social media impacted speed to break-even with Pete Hansen- The Franchise Story Podcast

Pete knew at an early age that business ownership was the right path for him and he purchased his first franchise in 2011. Pete Hansen studied at the University of Minnesota mainly at the Carlson School of Management. He took up Management Information System majoring in supply chain management. After that, he took up his master’s degree in Secondary Education at Arizona State University.

In May of 2010 through August practicing what he learned he taught 8th graders science for a non-profit organization which is called Teach for America. After that, he worked for Ernst and Young for two years as in advisory services which are a position in the company which guides people with their investment.

In 2011 he opened his first franchise company Liberty Tax which helps in the preparation of tax returns for individuals and small businesses. It is the third-largest tax preparation franchise in the United States. He is also the owner of the Club Pilates franchise which helps believes in a path to a fuller, more satisfying physical existence. He believes that being in control of your body helps you to be in control of your life. And best of all, he believes that you can start anytime. Lastly, he is also a partner at the Franchise Ramp which helps fellow Franchisees and Franchisors all over North America leverage Facebook and e-mail marketing to create predictable revenue generation systems by consulting services and webinars that help Franchisees and Franchisors implement scalable plans.
